ITINERARY

Day 1 (Friday): Paris
 
Upon arrival at the Paris airport, our professional driver will hold a name plate and pick you up from the airport lobby to your hotel. Pick up time (CDG / ORY): 07:00-22:00. Extra charge will apply after hours
Day 2 (Saturday) : Paris → Lucerne (650 km)
 
After boarding a luxury coach in Paris, we’ll take you on a beautiful journey through the classic French countryside en route to the Swiss mountains. You’ll pass through Basel, located at the junction of the Swiss, French and German borders, before reaching the picturesque lakeside city of Lucerne, nestled at the foot of the snow-capped Swiss Alps. Here you’ll admire Lucerne’s famous landmarks, including the Chapel Bridge, the Water Tower, and some wonderfully preserved Baroque and Gothic architecture, then spend your free time shopping or take a photo.

Day 3 (Sunday) : Lucerne → Milan → Venice (400 km)
 
Head south from Lucerne through breathtaking Switzerland and into northern Italy, where your first stop is Milan, the fashion capital of the world. The tour will introduce you to the city’s iconic sights, including the vast Gothic cathedral (Duomo). You’ll also find the oldest shopping mall on the planet, the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where you can wander among the boutiques and have lunch in one of the sophisticated cafes. After enjoying the many delights of Milan, you will arrive at another classic Italian city: Venice

Day 4 (Monday) : Venice → Rome (550 km)
 
Spend the morning with a knowledgeable local guide as you explore Venice, the most magical city. Start with a river ferry ride to San Marco Island, a memorable lagoon crossing that gives you a real taste of the city’s charm as you get up close to its picturesque spiers and distinctive buildings beside sea. Once on the island, you’ll be led around some of Venice’s most famous sites, starting at Piazzo Square with the Basilica of San Marco, a stunning piece of Byzantine architecture. You’ll also see the legendary Bridge of Sighs, which appears on many postcards or pictures of Venice and connects the old prison with the interrogation rooms in the Doge’s Palace. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to see some traditional Venetian crafts in the vicinity of the Murano glassblower demonstrations; Their exquisite creations make great souvenirs. Of course, the ultimate Venice activity is going through the arcades on a gondola. Step aboard, relax and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Then you will arrive in Rome in the afternoon

Day 5 (Tuesday) : Rome → Vatican → Arezzo (280 km)
 
Your day in Rome begins with a visit to the smallest country in the world, Vatican City, located in the heart of the Italian capital. Here you’ll marvel at St Peter’s Basilica, the home of Pope Francis and arguably the most important site in Christianity. The beautiful basilica has been here for nearly 1,700 years and houses an astonishing collection of paintings, frescoes and designs by some of humanity’s most famous artists, which you can explore. Alternatively, you can choose to add on a tour of the Sistine Chapel to see Michelangelo’s famous painted ceiling. Next, you’ll see the famous Trevi Fountain, a lavish Baroque showcase where people flock to throw coins into the water – an act that is said to guarantee that you’ll return to the city on someday.
After lunch, take a step back in time as you visit Italy’s unparalleled Roman ruins. A guided tour (optional) of the Colosseum, built in AD 72. History comes to life as you imagine yourself witnessing gladiatorial battles inside the spectacular Amphitheater, or you can comfortably walk around outside to admire facade of this ancient wonder. After the Colosseum, get up close to the nearby Arch of Constantine, which dates back to the fourth century AD, then spend some extra free time enjoying Rome, sampling the rich Italian “gelato” and greasy.

Day 6 (Wednesday) : Arezzo → Florence → Pisa → Genoa nearby city (250 km)
 
Your cultural exploration will continue as you get to know Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to some amazing architecture and fine art. Start the day by taking in the panoramic views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo, which offers stunning views over the red roofs,
The Arno River and its ancient city walls overlook the surrounding countryside. Next, you can watch a demonstration of the traditional leather craft made in the neighborhood in a local workshop and you will also have the opportunity to purchase some of the high-quality leather goods the city is famous for. From here, you’ll enjoy a guided walk around many of Florence’s highlights, including the Ponte Vecchio on the Arno, the Piazza del Duomo, and the Campanile Tower. You’ll come across the Uffizi Gallery, which houses one of the most notable art collections in Florence. You’ll have free time to see the city beyond, shop, or take in the world around you from a roadside cafe before heading to your next destination, Pisa. Here you are free to roam,

Day 7 (Thursday) : Genoa nearby city → Monaco → Nice → Cannes → Avignon or nearby city (450 km)
 
A breathtaking drive along one of Europe’s most famous stretches of Mediterranean coast awaits when you come to Italy and head to Monaco. This small principality, where the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place. A walking tour here will take you to the Grand Prince’s Palace, where you’ll have some free time to soak up the fresh air, before continuing on to the 1920s Courthouse,
Cliffside Oceanographic Museum and Church, where Grace Kelly is buried. We then went a little further to visit the famous Fragonard Perfume Factory. Here you will be given a fascinating guided tour around this working factory. Next up is Nice, where you’ll stop for lunch to enjoy some authentic local food and warm hospitality. Your journey continues to Cannes, where many movie stars have enjoyed the sweet smell of success. Be sure to grab some photos of the Palais des Festival, home to the city’s annual international film festival, before moving on to an overnight stay in a city near Avignon.

Day 8 (Friday) : Avignon or nearby city → Paris (700 km)
 
Unwind today with a wonderful cruise of the changing charms of the French countryside on your journey north to Paris, where your tour of the Green Line ends.

Day 9 (Saturday) : Paris
 
After breakfast, you can freely use your time shopping, sightseeing around the hotel and our professional driver will pick you up and take you to the airport to end a wonderful 9-day tour in the EU.
